Powder coating is a process where the alloy is coated with a high quality, powdered paint which in then baked in an oven, ensuring a strong bond is made between the alloy and paint
The process involves:
- Alloy removal
- Inspection for any damage
- Thorough wash to remove any dust and debris
- Chemical removal of the old paint and lacquer
- Removal of any damage if need be
- Powdered primer coat application
- Baked to allow for bonding
- Second coat with colour of your choice
- Finish with clear powder coat
