PLASTI DIP YOUR CAR
Plasti Dip® is the original peelable, flexible, durable rubber coating that protects against chips, scratches, and breakage and is easily removable from most surfaces. It can be applied to glass, rope, wood, metal, stainless steel, plastic, ceramic, brick, concrete—and much, much more.
We recommend to see our Plasti Dip Sprayed samples first to make sure it will meet your needs and expectations.
PRIMING
- Plasti Dip Primer increases adhesion by about 400% and is recommended for smooth surfaces such as plastics, metals, and stainless steel when a permanent application is desired. Note: Plasti Dip Primer is a permanent coating and is not peelable.
IS PRIMING NECESSARY?
- Most items being dip-coated do not require priming because the coating is shrinking around the item as it dries. However, in extreme conditions or when adding protective coating to a large metal surface, Plasti Dip Primer is recommended.
SURFACE PREPARATION
- Clean the surface with a mild soap and water to remove any dirt, debris, oils, waxes, or grease. If loose rust is present, lightly sand to remove the rust. Let the application surface dry completely as Plasti Dip will not adhere to a wet or damp surface.
